This month marks 20 years since I founded BlueBird iT. Reaching this milestone is more than a reason to celebrate. It is a reminder of why I began, how far we have come, and the trust we continue to earn every day.
When I started BlueBird twenty years ago, my vision was to help modernize Canadian healthcare by moving it toward a more connected future and guiding clinics into the digital age through the adoption of Electronic Medical Records. I wanted to be the trusted IT partner they could rely on, someone who not only built the infrastructure but supported it, protected it, and stayed with them through every step of their digital journey.
Back then, EMR adoption in Canada was under 5 percent.
Today, it’s over 90 percent, and we’re proud to have played a meaningful role in that national transformation.
I’ve dedicated most of my adult life to this mission. And after two decades in this space, what I’ve come to truly appreciate is that we’re not just offering great IT support. Yes, we troubleshoot.
